Unused concept for a menstrual underwear campaign. Menstrual product ads are often misleading and detrimental to body literacy, as they send confusing messages to people about what periods are and what the products are for.  Flowers and fruit, natures of design, were used to represent the reproductive system. Wine and red-dyed glue were used to represent menstrual blood as opposed to the ubiquitous blue liquid often used in many ads. (Photography: Shay Chamberlain, Art Direction/Editing: Yracema Rivas)
